Bloggers know the value of RSS feeds and RSS syndication. RSS feed websites update regularly, then send the information out to all their subscribers- who are following your blog. The real bonus here is that subscribers get a link to your most recent content. That means people who read your blog don’t have to check it regularly to know when you’ve got fresh content up. Create the backlink once, get it refreshed every time you update your site. That’s value for your money. More backlinks means you get indexed quickly, your posts carry more weight, and search engines send their crawler programs to your site more often. Here’s a few of some of the best ones.

* RssHugger.com: This is a newer website that pushes your blog. The really cool thing is that you can get your own page on their site for 10 years just for putting up a review of them. Scratch their back, and they’ll scratch yours.

* FeedBomb.com: This one categorizes blogs by topic, making it easier for people to find you. It’s easy to add your feed, and it doesn’t cost you anything.

* Postami.com: There is tons of content on the main page, along with very easily laid out sidebars. Fairly straightforward, and they get lots of traffic, so it’s a pretty safe bet.

* FeedsFarm.com: FeedsFarm indexes over 14,000,000 news articles, searches them, and puts them out for all to see- not to shabby for FREE.

* DayTimeNews.com: They collect RSS feed information from all over the globe and deliver it with amazing speed. It’s free, easy, and works.

* FeedBase.net: They routinely rotate their front page displays, cataloging thousands of feeds. There is a fee for using this service, but you keep in kind that if they can charge a fee, they HAVE the ability to deliver the required traffic.

* FeedBoy.com: This is an ad-supported cataloging site with multiple levels of user interface. The even have a section for games if you want to goof off for a bit.

* Feed24.com: A Dutch website which features the most recent news stories and blog posts. Also free to get your feed catalogued.

* Chordata.com: This is an extensive RSS feed data cataloging website. They also cover Atom feeds, which can be just as beneficial.

* Feedest.com: This site actually uses intelligence to learn how users like to surf the Internet and tailors the information to each one in particular.

There you have it – a list of the ten best RSS Feed Websites. Put them to use building links for your website today!

The only way to drive traffic to your site is to build backlinks. The only way to build backlinks is slowly, through a variety of channels. Some people pay for theirs, but the real thrifty ones know how to build an entire network of backlinks for absolutely no money. Here’s five ways you can do it too.

1. Squidoo: Squidoo lets you create lenses, which are short informative pages on just about anything. Accounts are free and you get to make as many pages as you like. Create Squidoo lenses about your topic and load them with keywords.

2. Blogger: Blogger.com is a great place to set up a free blog on any topic. Since Google owns it, accounts are free, space is plentiful, and you get as many blogs as you can handle. Create a related blog, then post away. Keyword loading and anchor text links are easy enough to do, so take advantage of the free links from a related blog.

3. Google Sites: OK, so Google Sites is no longer actively accepting members, but if you’ve been in the business for a little while, you’ll probably have one. Time to get it out from under the bed, dust it off, and fire it up. Current members can create multiple accounts, each with its own subdomain. With that much flexibility, simple websites related to your topic are easy to throw up, load with great keywords and content, and then plaster it with links to your site that’s going to make you money.

4. Submit Articles to Directories: Whether you already use article submission as a tool or not, it’s worth revisiting the benefits of this wonderful tool. Most article directories allow you to place a link at the bottom of each article so that if someone likes it, they can check out your site, which presumably is related to the topic they searched in the first place.

5. WordPress: Pretty much the industry standard, WordPress is another blog network with flexibility to spare in the way it lets you set up pages. Use WordPress to set up multiple blogs in the same field. Keywords go into the name of the blog, which makes search engine optimization work better; plus outgoing links will really beef up your site’s backlink network.

Building up backlinks for free is a very easy to do and quite rewarding. Simply fill the Internet with quality content, lots of exposure, and you’ve got it covered. Patience is the hardest part, but once you’ve got that licked, you can enjoy the traffic that is steered your way.

If you spend any amount of time building web sites and getting backlinks for them, you’ll undoubtedly come across several people that will gladly share their link building strategies. The catch is that these strategies rarely work for everybody. It may take a little longer, but there are some strategies that are like black shoes. They always work and never go out of style. Here are some of them so you know what to do when the latest fad strategy isn’t working for you:

1. Press Releases: Send out press releases related to your niche along with inline anchor text links. That will help with your search engine rankings. 2. Related Niche Directory Submissions: Get your links from related directories first, and you’ll boost the relevancy of your backlinks. 3. Bookmarking Sites: These are a great way to get permanent links, but be careful about spamming them. Get your account deleted, and you’ll lose everything you’ve built. Social networking sites are becoming an increasingly useful tool for link building.

4. Forums: Find forums related to your niche and start making posts. You might even find some forums full of people that will be more than willing to help you start out your business. Make posts, participate in a variety of threads, and get yourself known (or at least recognized), and people are bound to see your links. Pretty simple, but again, try not to spam them. Some forums are very strict about spam and other unwanted content- some even go so far as to change the content of your posts and leave your name up- read: spam a forum, shoot yourself in the foot.

5. Directory Listings: Find good directories- ones that have lots of bad links won’t help you much. 6. Blog Reviews: Find blogs related to your site and post comments on them- get your name out there. 7. Yahoo Answer: Write related articles; search engines crawl here all the time. 8. Submit Articles: This won’t affect traffic directly, but any keywords you use as anchor text helps search engines find you. 9. Blog on Your Site: Regular blog updates using anchor text keywords helps your site rank higher on search engines as well as driving traffic to your site.

These link building strategies have shown their usefulness time and time again, with varying degrees of success. Play with them and see which one works best for you and your niche.

Building links with other bloggers is all about networking and being social. One of the easiest ways to do this is by utilizing trackbacks. Trackbacks are essentially remote comments on another’s blog, and are incredibly easy to set up. These comments are quick and easy to put into action, and allow you to build a network of relevant links in very little time.

To start putting trackbacks to work for you, search for “your keyword + trackbacks” (without quotes) in Google. This will allow you to find all the blogs in your niche that are using your target keywords and have trackbacks turned on. The blogger must have trackbacks enabled to appear in this list.

Next, set up your trackback post. Write a short post in your WordPress blog with a direct link to the post you’ve chosen to comment on. Link directly to the post you’re writing about, and make sure you’re making a relevant and insightful comment. The blogger you’re linking to must approve the trackback before it goes live, so be sure that you’re providing high quality content that they’ll want to see on their blog.

Then use the permalink trackback field in WordPress to add the URL of the post you’re commenting on. By filling in this field, you’re telling WordPress to ping the owner of the other blog when your post is published. This is their cue to accept the trackback, publishing the content you’ve written on both of your sites.

Trackbacks are a win-win proposition for both parties involved. You gain a relevant backlink for your target keywords, and the blogger you’ve linked to gets a review of their post and a backlink, as well. This method can be extremely useful in your link building campaign. The key is to provide high quality, on topic content that both your readers and the other blogger’s readers can benefit from. Over time, the process becomes easier and easier, and you’ll soon be able to turn out a high quality trackback post in no time at all.

Congratulations – you’ve added a new skill to your link building arsenal. Now you can begin putting the power of trackbacks to work for you! This quick and easy method will supercharge your link building efforts.

When building a network of backlinks to a site, many people are unaware of how to do so without being penalized by Google. If you’re about to begin a backlink campaign, I recommend that you plan it out carefully. By building your backlinks slowly and consistently, you can create a network of sites linking to yours and increase your pagerank. The key is to do so steadily over time.

When you ask for a backlink from, try to get the owner of the site to place the link in the content of their web page with anchor text. For SEO purposes, this type of link works best. Ask them to link to a specific page or post on your site, as well, instead of simply linking to your main URL. This increases your reputation with the search engines for providing unique content, if different site owners are linking to different places on your website or blog.

Be sure to request links from relevant sites, as well. Find other site owners in your niche, and offer to barter or exchange links with them if necessary. Avoid asking completely unrelated sites to link to yours. If they do it on their own, it’s one thing, but when asking for links try to stick to related sites. Once your site is getting some traffic, you can branch out a bit, but when it’s new, you’ll want to stick to sites in your niche.

To avoid penalties from search engines, try to keep your link building to fewer than five links per day at first. Avoid sites that sell massive numbers of backlinks, as submitting your site to them is a sure way to be targeted and penalized. It looks suspicious if you have no links for two months, 1,000 links the next month, and only one or two the following month. Instead, aim for a pattern of slow growth by adding a few backlinks a day for months at a time. Over time, as your site grows, the number of links you build per day can grow, as well.

If you continue this back link building process, over time you’ll develop a high quality network of related sites linking back to yours. Your page rank will grow, and you’ll be establishing your new site as a leader in its niche. Just keep in mind that link building is a slow, gradual process, and will take time. Ask for anchor links when possible, request links from relevant sites, and build your network of links slowly, and you’re practically guaranteed a strong page rank and search engine presence.

If you sell a product online or run your own business, you always want to drive more traffic to your website. Despite the huge number or people on the Internet, traffic comes at a premium, so you have to do something to attract people to your site. One of the ways you can do that is by buying reviews on other people’s blogs to create backlinks. This involves paying or reimbursing a blogger to review and comment on your product on their blog, and works best if you find a blog that has a decent amount of traffic. You should also choose a blog that is related to your niche, so that the product placement will appear natural.

Buying blog posts really isn’t that hard to do; you just have to find the right blogs to push your product. Some blogs are better than others, some have more following, and some others simply rank very high in search engines. What you’re looking for is a blog with the same target audience as your product seeks to reach. That way, you’re almost guaranteed interested parties. The blog‘s readers are already interested in your niche – you just have to show them why they’re interested in your specific product.

You’ll need to contact the blogger about having him or her post a comment or a review on their blog. You can pay them, trade services with them, offer them a free sample of your product, or whatever you else want to do to motivate them to write a review for you. It is essential that they not write it up as if you paid them to. Did you realize that instead of running a focus group to test how well your product will do, you could simply ask a blogger to write an honest review? If they do this, then you can get some idea of how your product tests in a specific market or demographic. Be sure to explain that you’d like to hear both the positive and negative points about your product, and that you’re not simply looking for an advertisement on their blog.

When you pay a blogger to post a review of your product, you are basically guaranteed to get targeted traffic. People sent directly to your site because they are interested in the type of product that you offer. You can’t get better advertising than that. So many people read blogs every day that you’re sure to find one in your niche that would be willing to promote a product, or at the very least write a review of it. Asking a blogger to promote your product is a win-win situation.
