Week 1 in my change to get making more money. In my last post I talked about where I was at essentially very little passive income and lots of domain names and information sitting on my hard drive.

The first thing I have done is to take one of my domains www.stopsmokeonline.com and develop a squeeze page and blog. I based the website off of the Rapid Action Profits this way I can use paypal and potentially develop an affiliate site. I had already previously bought the script and didn’t feel like paying another $49 to clickbank.

If you go to www.stopsmokeonline.com it goes through the script, then I installed a wordpress blog at www.stopsmokeonline.com/quitsmokingblog/. I had a PLR product on Stop Smoking and this is the product I will be selling.  I also had some PLR articles on Stop Smoking which I have used to post onto the blog.

As of July 11 there is no traffic to the website. I have loaded up the articles on the blog to post every hour for 23 hours, so there will be a total of 23 articles. I set up the blog using typical recommendations such as installing plugins, setting up the permalink structure as /%category%/%postname%/ and pasting my ping list.

The next thing I am going to do next week is take those 23 articles rewrite them and post them to article directories. It will be interesting to see what kind of traffic I will get by just posting to the blog and see what the ping list does.

I will also be doing some social bookmarking to digg, stumbleupon, etc

Ok, this has been a long time coming and will be a lot of work but it is really my fault. When I first got involved in Internet Marketing I couldn’t get enough of it. What a way to make some money.

Then something happened, my ADD brain took over and started signing up to all sorts of lists implementing everything anybody ever told me becoming knowledgeable on absolutely everything related to making money on the internet. And I am proud to say that I make $500 a month doing this…

Kind of pathetic I know, so I have decided to to something about it and hopefully help people in the process.

Every new list that I signed up for  said to do this and that, research this and that and all I have for this are lots of domain names and a back up drive full of information that I am going to use one day.. Ya right!

Anyway, what I have decided to do is start taking some of my domains and information and start making them useful. I am going to journal this on my blog so that I can keep track of what I am doing, what I still need to do and that way we can all learn together and makes some money.

So to start this off I have taken two domains that I have www.stopsmokeonline.com and www.allergysymptomsonline.com and set up two websites. For both of these websites I already have some pre-existing articles and products that are sitting on the back up drive doing nothing.

What I have done is to create two sites using dreamweaver, now here is hint number one, DON”T LEARN DREAMWEAVER. Instead find a hosting company that you can install a Wordpress blog through fantastico.

Anyway, over the next couple of weeks I will outline exactly what I am doing. As of today’s date both websites are indexed in google via “site:” and currently receive no traffic according to Google Anylitics. Feel free to comment and make suggestions. The next post will be exactly what i did to set up the website, install the blog and do keyword research.
